This photo of Bobby Jones was taken at the 1928 U.S. Amateur held at Brae Burn Country Club in West Newton, MA. It is available in 8" x 10" and 11" x 14" and comes unframed. Framing is available for an additional charge.
Bobby Jones was primarily a part-time golfer, who never turned pro. That didn't stop him from winning four U.S. Open titles or 3 Open Championship (British Open) titles to go with his five U.S. Amateur titles and one British Amateur title.
After retiring, Jones founded and co-designed Augusta National Golf Club. In 1934 he founded the Masters Tournament, to be held at his new course. Although he had retired in 1930, Jones return to action to play at his own tournament, competing in the first dozen Masters championships.
