This awesome 8x10 photograph of Charlie Ward was hand signed but unfortunately the photo itself has seen better days. The ink on the photo itself is begining to fade, while the signature still looks great! Due to the fading, the price has been reduced. Ward is a retired professional basketball player and college football Heisman Trophy winner! Ward won the Heisman in 1993 along with the Maxwell and Davey O'Brien Awards while playing QB for Florida State. He also led FSU to their first ever National Championship! He also played basketball for FSU where he still holds records for career steals and steals in one game.
 
After college, Ward pitched some for the Milwaukee Brewers and the New York Yankees. He also played in the 1994 Arthur Ashe Amateur Tennis Tournament. Up until it was time for the NBA and NFL drafts. Ward said he would only play in the NFL if he was drafted in the first round - which he was not, so he did not! He DID, however, get drafted in the first round of the NBA draft! His professional basketball career started off with the New York Knicks. He spent almost his entire career playing with the Knicks, a total of 10 seasons. His final two seasons were with San Antonio and then Houston. Though he never managed a championship, he did play in the playoffs in 7 seasons.
