Brendan Shanahan is a Canadian former professional hockey player turned hockey executive (see: Brendan Banahan). Shanahan played for the Devils, Blues, Whalers, Rangers, and for his longest stint, The Detroit Red Wings. Shanahan was on the Wings squad from 1996-2009, helping take the team to 3 Stanley Cup victories in that time.
