Jimmy Connors is an American former world champion tennis player and held the record for most consecutive weeks at #1 with 160.  He had a career total of 268 weeks at the top of the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings. Connors still holds three records - 109 titles, 1,557 matches played, and 1,274 match wins. His titles include eight majors ( joint Open Era five US Open titles, two Wimbledon titles, one Australian open title), three year-end championships, and 17 Grand Prix Super Series titles.
