Christine "Chris" Evert won 18 Grand Slam singles titles and 3 Grand Slam doubles titles. She appeared in 34 Grand Slam finals - more than any other player in history ? and holds the record for most consecutive years with at least one Grand Slam title (13). Overall, Evert won 157 singles championships and 32 doubles titles. She was the year-ending world number 1 singles player in 1974-77, 1978, and 1980-81.
