Lance Armstrong, though surrounded by controversy, was one of the greatest athletes to perform on two wheels. He held seven consecutive Tour de France titles (1999-2005) until being stripped of those titles after a doping scandal following his recovery from testicular cancer.
Lance personally autographed this copy of the Sports Illustrated issue from August of 2003. The cover features Lance after winning his fifth Tour de France. The issue does show signs of wear, including a crease in the bottom right corner.
