Mickey Carroll was an American actor known primarily for his role as a munchkin in The Wizard of Oz. Carroll was actually offered this role by Judy Garland herself after meeting her in school (where he also was a classmate of Mickey Rooney). Carroll also was on many radio shows after giving up acting shortly after The Wizard of Oz. Fun Fact! Carroll's actual godfather was the mobster Al Capone!
