Johnny Mathis an American singer-songwriter that got his start singing in Jazz Cafes in San Francisco. In 1955 he was noticed by a club owner and given a solo gig. One thing led to another and 1 year later, Mathis released his first album, Johnny Mathis with Columbia Records. This album, The Shadow of Your Smile, was released ten years later under Mecury Albums. The release was well received and was one of only two albums from 1966 on to reach the top 10 on the US charts. The jacket of the album was signed by Mathis himself. The jacket and inner sleeve are showing their age, but the signature is in great shape! The 12" LP is also included. The record itself has NOT been tested, but appears to be in great, playable shape.
The piece comes unframed but can be framed for an additional fee.
