This officially-licensed, 16" x 20" photograph has been personally autographed by former NFL pro football player and Michigan Wolverine Desmond Howard, winner of the 1991 Heisman Trophy. This classic photo of Howard was taken as he struck the famous Heisman Trophy pose after a punt return for a touchdown during the 1991 Michigan-Ohio State game. While playing at the University of Michigan, Howard set or tied five NCAA and 12 Michigan records. In 1991, his Heisman Trophy-winning season, he also led the Big Ten in scoring with 138 points, won the Maxwell and Walter Camp Awards, and earned first-team All-American honors. Howard captured 85% of the first-place votes for the 1991 Heisman, the largest margin in the trophy's history at that time.
 
In 1996, Howard led the NFL in punt returns (58), punt return yards (875, this set the NFL record), punt return average (15.1), and punt return touchdowns (3). In Super Bowl XXXI, Howard returned the kickoff after Patriot pulled within 6 points late in the game. This 99 yard return cemented Patriots fate. Howard also holds the Super Bowl record with 90 punt return yards and 154 kickoff return yards.
