The University of Michigan football jersey has been signed by former Michigan Wolverine wide receivers, Anthony Carter and Braylon Edwards.
All numbers and letters are hand-sewn onto the jersey. Each jersey is also embroidered with a list of both Carter?s and Edwards? college football statistics.
Anthony Carter played for Michigan from 1979-1982. He was a three-time All-American and the Big Ten Conference MVP in 1982, his senior season. When Carter graduated he held nearly every Michigan receiving and returning record, including touchdowns, receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions. He also held the NCAA record for highest average gain per play. Carter was elected into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001.
Braylon Edwards played for Michigan from 2001-2004. In his senior year, he was a unanimous First Team All-American and won the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation?s top receiver. That year he was also named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and won the Chicago Tribune?s Silver Football as the Big Ten Conference?s MVP.
