This white Chicago Cubs jersey has been signed by Cubs great Ernie Banks, aka Mr. Cub. Banks is widely-considered one of the greatest players of all time. He played his entire MLB career (1953-1971) with the Chicago Cubs, playing shortstop and first base. In his first year with the Cubs, Banks was the runner-up for National League Rookie of the Year. He was named National League MVP in 1958 and 1959 and National League All-Star 11 times. Banks was also the Chicago Cubs first Gold Glove winner (1960). Prior to his Major League debut, Banks played for the Kansas City Monarchs of baseball's Negro Leagues.
