The 2002 Men's Ice Hockey Gold Medal game was held on February 24, 2002 at the E Center in West Valley City, Utah. Canada defeated the United States 5-2 to capture the Gold Medal. Detroit Red Wings Steve Yzerman and Brendan Shanahan played for the Canadian National Team while Chris Chelios and Brett Hull competed for the U.S. National Team. This photo, taken moments after the medal ceremony, features the Wings players wearing their medals.
