Limited edition signed photograph featuring hockey legend Wayne Gretzky as he scores his NHL-record 802nd goal. This great 8” x 10” photograph has been signed by Mr. Hockey and includes an “802” inscription, as well as his number, 99.
Gretzky surpassed his childhood idol Gordie Howe’s record for Most Regular Season NHL Goals playing for the Los Angeles Kings on March 23, 1994 when he score his 802nd goal in a game against the Vancouver Canucks. Gretzky would go on to finish his career with 894 regular season goals and 122 post-season goals, numbers that still stand as NHL records. At the time of Gretzky’s retirement in 1999, he held a total of 61 NHL records. Since retirement, two of those records have been passed, but Gretzky has gained one record, giving him a current total of 60 official NHL records.
This photo comes with an Upper Deck Authenticated certificate of authenticity. The photo comes unframed in a sturdy leather folder embossed with Upper Deck’s logo on the front cover. Framing is available for an additional charge.
