Justin Verlander Detroit Tiger Autographed Free Press Poster
This autographed poster is the exact front page reprint of the Detroit Free Press taken when Justin Verlander pitched the first no-hitter in Comerica Park history on June 12, 2007. This no-hitter was the Tigers' first no-hitter since Jack Morris in 1984, the first no-hitter in Detroit since Nolan Ryan of the Angels did it at Tiger Stadium in 1973 and the first by a Tiger at home since 1952. Fanning 12 and walking four in the Tigers' 4-0 victory over the Brewers, Verlander was quoted as saying "That ninth inning was amazing. It was the best thing that ever happened to me." The poster measures 18" x 24" and comes unframed. It is also available framed for an additional charge. This piece of sports memorabilia was signed exclusively at a Sports Gallery private signing. The multi-colored Certificate of Authenticity comes with the official Sports Gallery seal and is individually registered in our system. A tamper-proof numbered hologram on the certificate has a matching hologram attached to this "Piece of Sports History." A photo of the athlete will be included on the certificate.
